Stretford foodbank is changing to Trafford North

Did you know that Stretford foodbank actually covers all of North Trafford? That’s right – our clients and donors come from all over North Trafford, including (but not limited to!) Urmston, Davyhulme, Flixton, Old Trafford, Gorse Hill, Firswood and Trafford Park.

For that reason, from November 2024 our name will be Trafford North foodbank – in line with our very good friends and neighbours at Trafford South foodbank.

Don’t worry – we’ll still be collecting (and delivering!) food to the same areas, including Stretford, and operating in exactly the same way as we always have. All that will change is our branding, our social media handles, and a few web links. We’re hoping our new name will make it easier for people in the North Trafford area to understand that this service is here for them all whenever they need it or whenever they would like to make a donation.
