Team Member #Part3

Hi I’m Louise

I am the Manager at Trafford North Foodbank.

The main part of my job is to look after the team of staff and volunteers and make sure the service runs smoothly and that we have enough money to keep going. I spend a lot of time fundraising and accessing grant funding and corporate support.

I enjoy building relationships with referral agents, support agencies and other community groups to ensure that we are offering as much help as we can to those in the Trafford North area. This service is very much a team effort and I am proud to be part of that team. I am a member of the Trussell Changing Policy Group in Greater Manchester and part of the Trussell Strategic Consultation Group for the North of England, groups which lobby politicians and decision makers on the issues that affect our users the most.

I grew up in Stretford, live locally with my two children and I love the community in which I live and serve.
