Hi I’m Steve,
I’ve worked at Trafford North Foodbank for the last 3 years as the Warehouse Manager. Arranging food deliveries, donation collections, stock purchasing and stock control are my main areas of focus.
We have a great team ethic, our volunteers are supportive and committed to helping those that need assistance. We also support each other with a real sense of fun, purpose and collaboration.
The generosity I have experienced, within the local community to support those in need of our help is amazing:
- businesses
- schools
- religious groups
- community centres
- individuals
have all come together to provide food, toiletries, cleaning products, pet food and monetary donations to ensure we can provide much needed assistance to our clients. I gain a real sense of purpose and job satisfaction from the work I do.
