URGENT: Save Little Green Sock Project!

This is a call to everyone in Trafford – our partner, Little Green Sock Project, urgently needs your support.

Trafford North foodbank provides mothers and their babies and children all over Trafford with milk and food, but when families need more support than we can give we point them to Little Green Sock Project.

This amazing baby bank has provided thousands of families all over Trafford with clothing, beds and bedding, prams and more for several years. Without it, many Christmases would have gone uncelebrated, many babies would have gone without proper cots, and so many parents in our area would have gone through a great deal more stress at what is already one of the most stressful times of their lives.

Now they need your help, because their warehouse in Stretford Mall is being demolished – and they have nowhere else to go. Unless they raise enough money for a replacement home, Little Green Sock Project may be forced to close entirely.

Almost any parent could find themselves in need of a charity like Little Green Sock Project. Any one of us could be made redundant and struggle to find new work; any one of us could become disabled or bereaved. More than 11 million people in Britain have less than £1,000 in savings.
