How to get help
To get urgent help, call Citizens Advice Trafford on 0808 278 7803 (freephone, 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday)
…or talk to one of these partner agencies.
If you’re pregnant or have a child under 4, you can also make use of the Healthy Start scheme.
We don’t issue paper vouchers any more, and you don’t have to meet anyone face to face.
Instead, one of the agencies partnering with us will issue you an electronic voucher. This e-voucher will show on our system and we will give you a ring to arrange delivery or collection at a time which suits you.
Our friendly volunteers can deliver to anywhere in M32, M16, M15 or M41. They deliver in an unmarked van, just like a supermarket delivery.
Parcels weigh about 15kg (33lbs) and families often receive two, so if you decide to collect you will need a car. The collection address is:
Stretford Foodbank
The Leathwaite Centre
227-229 Winchester Road
Stretford
Manchester
M32 9PT
Agencies we work with include Citizens Advice, housing support officers, children’s centres, health visitors, social services and some local charities.
If you are not in when we come to deliver we will not be able to return. We will contact you and you will have to make arrangements to collect yourself.
